Rickie left this world as she entered it, surrounded by love. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Georgian Bay General Hospital on Friday Nov. 25th, 2022.
Rickie is survived by her spouse, Herbert Wright, her children Andrea Ferguson and Christopher Ferguson and their father Robert Ferguson, step-children Christa Beauchesne (Eric Beauchesne), Michael Wright (Rachelle Beausoleil) and Meghann Wright (Daniel Ponce), grandchildren Lauren & Blair Hughes, Eleanor, Camilia and Cecilia Ferguson, Summer, Alysha and Natalie Beauchesne, Jordyn & Anthony Wright and Brandon Locke. Her sister, Betty Desjardins and many nieces & nephews, greats and great-greats. She was predeceased by her parents, Olive & James Tucker and sisters Rosalind Bilyk and Violet Rowe.
Rickie loved to garden and had been past president and an active member of the Midland Horticultural Society for many years.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at GBGH for their care and compassion during Rickie’s stay at the hospital.
Cremation has taken place and a private family Celebration of Life has been held. As an expression of sympathy, donations to OSPCA Midland or Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation in Rickie’s memory would be appreciated.
