It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Albert Thomas Sutton “Bert” surrounded by his family at the RVH in Barrie on Monday, November 27th, 2023 at the age of 70.
Cherished husband and partner of 48 years to Malia. Loving and devoted father to Tarquin, Joseph, and Branwen (Phil). Bert was a lifelong friend to Ricky, Paul, Ted, Stan, Jimmie, Sue and Danny, to name just a few. He will be dearly missed by all extended family and his friends at Home Depot who made his time there as the “Appliance Guy” a memorable one. Bert's cottages were always a great place for a little work and a lot of fun.
Family and friends are welcome to a visitation on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023 from 1 - 4 p.m. at Nicholls Funeral Home (330 Midland Ave., Midland). A funeral service will take place on Monday, December 4th at 2 p.m. at Wyevale United Church (846 County Rd 6 S, Tiny). If desired, donations can be made in memory of Bert to Scouts Canada.
