It is with profound sadness to annonce that John Steve Stibler passed away peacefully, in his sleep, at the Villa Care Centre in Midland on December 23, 2023 at age 83.
Beloved husband of the late Arlene in 2012. Predeceased by his dear brothers Joseph and Andrew Stibler, as well as his parents, Agnes and André. John is survived by his only sister, Bernice DeGrace and many nieces and nephews.
John was a wonderful person: private, quiet, a man with pride and style who would not criticize or judge anyone.
Many years of his life were dedicated to volunteering in various areas. John found inspiration, pride and joy in service to others before his own needs.
Family and friends would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to John's doctors, nurses, all staff including cleaning staff from Georgian Bay Hospital and The Villa Care Centre from Midland for their hard work, devotions, compassion and patience. Another important person to thank at the Villa is "Chaplin "PAT' for his religious dedication he held on Sundays for the residents.
During John's struggle with illnesses, he would often say, " the good Lord will take care of me.
John will greatly be missed by so many people who loved and appreciated him.
