Wanda passed away peacefully in her 96th year. Pre-deceased by her loving husband of 73 years, Charles Spiker. Loving mother of Karen and James (Lin). Extraordinary role model to her grandchildren, Chris (Rachelle), Ryan (Meredith) and Nicole. Great grandmother to Olin and Indie.
Wanda had many hobbies and talents. She loved to knit, quilt, bake and enjoyed weekly Ladies Night. She relished being outdoors and took joy in maintaining her garden. Wanda travelled the world with Charlie by her side. In recent years, she enjoyed the simple joys in life; bird watching, sitting on the porch, a good coffee and time with the family. Wanda will be remembered for her equanimity and wise words of advice.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Hummingbird Wing at The Villa Care Centre. In keeping with Wanda’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
