Isabell “Bella” Spencer passed peacefully in her sleep on November 28th, 2023. She was in her ninety-eighth yea. Bella was predeceased by her husband Donald and son Paul. Bella is survived by her daughter Sally (Bob), son John, and daughter-in-law Judy. Beloved grandmother to Adrian (Lauren) and Tyler (Lindsay) Logan, Sara and Johnathan Spencer. Treasured by her great-grandchildren; Brock, Harrison, Cooper, Lincoln, and Matilda.
Bella was a long-time resident of Port McNicoll, and cared deeply for her community, friends, and neighbours. She was employed by Dr. Talbot for many years-she was sincere and passionate about helping other people in any way possible. She will forever be remembered for her kindness, compassion and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
Bella loved gardening and giving back to the community. Many of her retirement years were spent volunteering at the local library and hospital. She loved to travel, bake, knit, tatt and read. But above all she valued and adored her time with family.
While her family grieves her loss, they take comfort knowing that she has lived a long and wonderful life and is finally at rest.
Special thanks to the wonderful nurses and staff at the Villa Care Centre for taking care of our dearest grandma.
In lieu of a funeral, a celebration of life will be held at a future date. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.
