We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Manfred Siebert on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023 at the age of 85. He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Aurea Siebert. Dear brother to Arno Siebert (Elisabeth). Cherished uncle to Eike and Frank Freudenberg, Angela Siebert and Martin Kanowski. He also leaves behind sister-in-law Traute Siebert and husband Duncan Greene, niece Clarissa Eleanor and husband Scott William Connell. Manfred will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.
Manfred was a generous, kind and giving man, dedicating many hours to the church. In the winter months, Manfred and Aurea are snowbirds in Sarasota, Florida and would attend the Northminster Presbyterian Church where Manfred was a Choir member. Manfred will be dearly missed by his family, many friends, and neighbors in both Canada and in Florida. We will cherish the gifts of his love, his countless stories and memories made until that one blessed day when we meet again.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday October 21st at 11am at the Calvary Baptist Church (598 King St. Midland). A reception to follow at the church. If desired, donations in memory of Manfred can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Calvary Baptist Church.
