We are saddened to announce the passing of Blanche Roppa (nee Robitaille) of Midland, Ontario on September 18th, 2021, at 82 years of age.
Born in Lafontaine, Tiny Township on May 31st, 1939, to Lucien and Hazel Robitaille and into what would become a large, close-knit family.
She will be greatly missed by her two daughters and sons-in-law: Eleanor and Edwin Brunink, Michelle and Peter White. Granddaughter: Kiara Brunink. Long-time friend: Vicki Duke. Sisters and brothers: Lucy, Marthe, Julianne, Julia, Lucille, Richard, Viateur, Lionel. And an extended family of many sisters and brother-in laws, nieces, nephews and John Roppa. Blanche is predeceased by both of her parents Lucien and Hazel Robitaille and her sister Irene Lortie.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date and the family will provide that information when it becomes available. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Georgian Bay Hospital Foundation or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #80 Midland.
