It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Jeanne Marie Pepin (née Belanger) of Hamilton, on Feb 22, 2024 at the age of 77 years.
Jeanne will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend, Michel Pepin, with whom she shared a profound and enduring love, often epitomized by their favorite song, "Under the Boardwalk." Together, they navigated life's joys and challenges, raising a family of four remarkable children: Dan Pepin (Lorrie), Nancy Pepin, Michelle Pepin, and Andre Pepin (Kimberly).
Born in Hamilton, Jeanne was a beacon of humour and care, touching the lives of all who knew her with her warmth and generosity. She was a devoted mother, not only to her own children but to all who were welcomed into her home and heart.
Jeanne's legacy is carried on by her cherished family, including her beloved grandchildren (David and Eileen, Nicholas and Nathan, Dominic and Maxime) and great-grandchildren whose lives she enriched with love and laughter. She was predeceased by her mother, Eva Brown, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
A celebration of Jeanne's life will be held at the Midland Curling Club on May 21, 2024, starting at 1pm where friends and family will gather to honour her memory and the joy she brought into their lives.
In remembrance of Jeanne's spirit and in lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to Campfire Circle, an organization close to her heart. Her memory will forever be a guiding light to her loved ones.
Jeanne's life was a testament to the power of love, the strength of family, and the joy of laughter. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
