It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eric Pauzé on Monday, January 30, 2023, in his 95th year, surrounded by his children.
Beloved father to Pauline (Gerry Moreau), Elmer (Pauline), Kenneth (Karen), Gail (Brian Woodford), Dennis (MaryAnn), Bonnie (Jake Pigeon), and Lee-Anne (Kevin Clute). Supportive father-in-law of Andrew Maheu (deceased) and Michelle Pauzé. Loving husband to Evelyn Laliberte, Georgette Marcot, and Lorette Robitaille. He was cherished Pépère to 24 grandchildren and Old-Pépère to 30 great-grandkids. Big brother to his four sisters, Bernice McKee (deceased), Yvonne Desroches, May Smith, and Irene Lethbridge (deceased).
Eric was the proud founder and owner of Eric Pauzé Construction Ltd. since 1959. He mentored many as he was a ‘jack of all trades’ and was always happiest sharing what he’d learned. More recently, he was content in his garden or touring around his properties on his side-by-side with his faithful companion, his dog, Rosie. Eric’s proudest achievement was his family or ‘the gang’ as he liked to refer to them.
A funeral mass service will be held at the St. Patrick’s Church in Perkinsfield, Ontario at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Interment to take place in the spring.
A celebration of Eric’s incredible life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, in Perkinsfield to commemorate his 95th birthday. We hope all his many friends and acquaintances will join us then, more details to follow.
