It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Glady Murphy (nee Corbier) on Sunday July 16th, 2023 at Joseph's Island at the age of 91.
She was the wife of the late John Murphy. She is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Clara, her siblings Daniel, Donald (Ann), Al (Joan), Diane (Willard). Garnet, Fred (Faye), her sister in law Ann, and her daughter Gail Krajewski (Vic). Glady will be missed by her daughters Dawn Cloutier (Paul Fish), Ellen Manton (Keith), Ann Murphy, and Kelly Trainor. She is survived by her brother Dave and her sister Mary (Floyd). She will be sadly missed by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Nicholl's Funeral Home (330 Midland Ave., Midland). A visitation will be held on Thursday July 20th from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Friday, July 21st at St. Margaret's Catholic Church starting at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
