With profound sadness we announce the passing of Edgar Moreau on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Hillcrest Village, Midland, ON, at the age of 90.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Anita Moreau (nee Dupuis), married since September 01, 1952. He was the loving father of Michael (Karen Irene), Karen Patricia, Mary Lynn Brais (Ian Spice), John David (Ron Morgan), and Christopher Matthew (Kim), grandfather of Lindsay, Eric, Craig, Keirsten, Jarrett, Tori, Matthew, Mellissa and Malinda, and great-grandfather of Ian, Cameron, Abigail, Alex, Pyper, Tanner, and Landon.
Predeceased by his siblings Evodia, Lucille (Lou), Vince, Lorraine (Nan), Rose Marie (Toni), John, and Teresa, he will be sadly missed by his surviving siblings, Paul, Bill, Peter, and Anne, and fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will take place on March 25, 2024 at 2:00 pm at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in Penetanguishene, ON, with a reception to follow (same location). Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
The family would also like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Hillcrest Village Care Centre for the care and compassion they provided.
