McFADDEN, Walter Bryan

It is with deep sorrow and immense love that we mourn the sudden passing of Walter McFadden on April 9, 2021, at the age of 70, with family by his side at Georgian Bay General Hospital.

Wally was a loving husband and best friend to Carol McFadden (nee Murney), and dad to Christine Atkinson (John) and Bryan McFadden (Danielle). Wonderful memories of 'Papa' will live in the hearts of Madelyn, William, Spencer, Millie and Nora. He is predeceased by his parents, Walter and Millie (nee Richardson), and his sister Doreen. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Shirley-Ann Watson (predeceased by Jan). Walt will be dearly missed by his many relatives and friends.

Walter was born in Hamilton in 1951 and was known as a family man, a lover of music, the outdoors and boating on Georgian Bay. He was a plumber by trade and a handyman, craftsman at heart. His quick wit and humor will be remembered by all who knew him and even strangers he met along the way.

A celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2021.
