Victor George LePage, (78), of Penetanguishene, Ontario passed away peacefully on September 26, 2023 in the company of family. Vic (or Papa) was a dedicated grandfather, father, husband, brother, uncle, hockey coach, and fisherman.

Orphaned at an early age, Victor was baptized Eric Michael Fraser, and moved from home to home until he was blessed to be taken in by the Gluckys, who became his chosen family.

Victor met his future bride (Anne Bernadette Fitzpatrick) in high school and after a brief period in the air force, promptly asked for her hand. They immediately started a family, bought their first home and quickly had 4 rambunctious sons.

Vic spent his career at Canadian National Railroad, working his way up to shop supervisor before retiring at the age of 52. Being the restless type, Vic launched a business building decks and doing renovations until he really retired with Anne at the age of 62.

Together Vic and Anne moved to Penetanguishene, and for several years they toured the country with Tina and Ted as well as Mike and Debbie, wintering in Arizona in their 5th wheel trailer. In their journeys they made fast friends of Ren and Joanne, Udo and Karen, as well as Phil and Syl.

One of Vic’s superpowers was that he made friends everywhere he went and whether he was in a checkout line or sitting on the Penetang dock, he always greeted people with a joke and a smile.

Vic is survived by his dear companion Pauline, as well as 4 sons – Paul Fraser (and Jennifer), David Victor, Christopher Michael (and Noi), and Jeffrey Robert (and Lisa) as well as their children (Daniel and Noah, Chloe and Sydney, Felix and Tobey, Joseph and Ryan). He is predeceased by his beloved parents Mary and Mike Glucky.

Vic was passionate about his family (especially his grandchildren), playing hockey, telling a good story, fast cars, and fishing.
