Passed away peacefully at home with his wife and daughters by his side on December 10, 2023 at the age of 86.
Beloved husband of Valerie for 59 years. Proud, loving and protective father of Kimberley (Paul) Holland and Sandra “ twoshoes” (Mike) Holliday. Predeceased by son Brian (Margo) Leduc. Loving papa of Tanya (Marty), Jonathan (Ashley), Jordan and Kayla (Troy) and great papa of Stevie “little man” , Caleb, Jam and Josie. Dearly loved by brothers and sisters Rita (late Ron) Leduc, late Julie and Nevin Nicholson, Shirley (late Winston) Cousineau, Ben (Susan) Leduc, late Florence and Don Cascanette, Mike (Elizabeth) Leduc, Irene (Don) Moreau and Leonard (Jenny) Leduc. Predeceased by his parents Philip Sr. and Irene Leduc.
The family will receive guests at Carson Funeral Home – J.H. Lynn Chapel 290 First St., in Midland on Friday December 15, 2023 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm.
A funeral mass will be held the following day at St. John the Baptist Parish, 35 Port Severn Rd. N., in Port Severn on Saturday December 16, starting at 11:30am. Burial will take place in the spring at St. Ann’s Cemetery.
The family would like to take this opportunity to especially thank the nurses from ParaMed Home Health Care and the PSW's from Happy at Home Support Services for the loving care given to Philip and the family during this difficult time.
