It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mom, Marie Rose Quesnelle/Laurin, on December 6, 2021 at Tomkins House. Mom was in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Benoit Laurin (1998 – 2018) and the late Marcel Quesnelle (1950 – 1996). Survived by her children Danny Quesnelle (Lynn), Maryann Larkin, Evelyn Scheepers (Gary) Louise Therrien (Frank Reda), Suzanne Weiler (Gerard) and Pierre Quesnelle (Marlene). Survived by her sister Theresa Light (Frances), brothers Tom McNamara (Pat), and Howard McNamara (Lorraine). Predeceased by her sister Bertha Webb, her brothers Marcel, Denis and Wilfred McNamara. Cherished ‘Memere’ to Heather, Lisa, Joe, Tyler, Travis, Kimberly, Chrissy, Amanda, Michelle, Jeremy, Jasmine, Tristan and Kelsey. Great-grandmother to Samantha, Mary, Robert, Hunter, Alexandra, Nicole, Cody, Connor, Ivy, Spencer, Becca, Leila, Arissa, Keadyn, Henry, Emmett, Josephine, Winnifred.
Visitation at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home on Friday, December 10 from 6:30-9:00, with funeral service at St. Patrick’s Church, Perkinsfield Saturday at 11a.m. If you would like to attend the visitation, proof of vaccination is required. Please call the Funeral Home to book a spot for the service as space is limited, 705-549-3155.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff and volunteers at Tomkins House (Hospice Huronia), for their amazing care and compassion in mom’s final days. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful establishment in our community.
