It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our sister and best friend Clarissa, she passed peacefully with family by her side at her home at 83 years old.

She was loved and will be sadly missed by all her nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. We will never forget the amazing person she was, and all the happiness she brought to our lives, Clarissa knitted sweaters, socks, and mitts for all our kids and grandkids when they were small. She loved to sew from placemats, oven mitts, dishcloths, and little towels to put on our oven doors, everybody had some. At one time, she made her own clothes. She made quilts, she sewed every stitch with love, and she made them for all her grandkids and other members of the family, they’re our keepsakes. She loved to cook and bake, if you came to her house, you were always invited to stay for a meal, and everyone was welcome.

Our home away from home. She liked to go to garage sales just so she could talk to different people, she liked to go to the Dairy Queen, A&W, and Tim Hortons for a meal on weekends. She did canning every summer, pickles, relishes, tomatoes, and every fruit that was in season, she would give most of it away and she loved to go shopping. We will miss her so much, she left us so many memories. Cremation has taken place.

Visitation will be held, Wednesday, May 18 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St Ann’s Church, on May 19 at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Ann’s cemetery to follow.
