Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at Georgian Bay General Hospital on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Walmsley). Dear father of Ric (Anne), Ken, Don (Kim), Cathy Hayes (Rob), Michael and Peter La Rose. He will be sadly missed by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Brother of Gwen Pearson. The family wishes to thank the staff and residents of Tiffin House for their kindness as Doug considered them a part of his extended family. A private family service has been held.
