Jane Julia Kirkwood, age 96, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 18th, 2022. She was born January 9, 1926 to the late Clara and Joseph Juneau, in Victoria Harbour, Ontario. She was predeceased by her loving husband Allan Kirkwood, sons Gary (Mary) and Mark. Loving mother of Carol (Brian), Dianne (Paul), Sandra (Jim), John (Judy) and Cathy. Cherished Gramma of Allan (Cindy), Jonathan, John Paul (Melissa), Adrian, Madeleine (Matt), Celeste, Nicole (Andrew), Danielle (Chris), Nadine (Ted), Clare (Rob), David, Meagan (Mike), Erin (John), Jeff (Jessica), Patrick, Kyle (Carly), D’Arcy, Leah and Olivia.
Proud great-Gramma of Gary, Remy, Kivi, Arianne, Adrian, Annika, Ben, Isla, Hudson, Morgan, Ethan, Grace, Cadence, Hunter, Willow and Lily, Dear sister of Gerald (Tiena). Predeceased by her siblings Laura, Philomene, Douglas, Clement, Augustine and Michael. Jane will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Please join us in celebrating her life on Thursday, November 24th at Nicholls Funeral Home at 11 a.m. followed by a chapel service at 12 p.m. Internment to be held in the spring. Donations in Jane’s memory may be made to the local food bank.
