After a long and courageous battle with cancer, the family of Rita Jupp is saddened by her passing at Tiffin House on September 23, 2023.
She was married to the love of her life, Ray Jupp for 65, before he passed in 2022. Born in Hull, United Kingdom in 1936, Rita and Ray uprooted their life and two young boys and immigrated to Canada in 1967. The need for Bakers in the area landed them in the Barrie, Orillia, Midland area. Rita is survived by her two sons Stephen (Christine) Jupp and David (Tiana) Jupp, her grandchildren; Calvin, Kate, Izzy, Cassandra and many great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the people who were there to care for Rita as she transitioned from this life. Special thanks to the entire Tiffin House staff and especially the Nurses, PSW’s and staff of the Assisted Living floor, you went over and above the call of duty. We’d also like to thank the many caring Paramed PSW’s, Erin from Bayshore Healthcare, Vanessa from Home and Community Care and Dr. Amanda Murdoch.
As per Rita’s request, there will be no funeral service or celebration of life. The family will gather for a private celebration at a later date.
