Betty was born on September 26, 1928 to Charles and Selina Sims at King’s College Hospital, London, England. She was predeceased by her husband William Hines, her brothers Ken, Syd and John and recently by her sister Jean Capes. Betty loved the last twenty years of her life in Canada. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her nephew and God son Paul Capes (Debra), Nieces; Elaine Capes (John), Nina Patterson, Lesley Watt of South Africa and Jackie Seaton of England. She leaves many great-nephews and nieces as well as seven great-great nieces and nephews.
Betty loved to travel and visited many countries around the world making many new friends who will miss her deeply.
Funeral Service will be held on May 1, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. St. James On-The-Lines Garrison Church, 223 Church Street, Penetanguishene. Interment to follow, St. James On-The-Lines Cemetery 200 Church Street, Penetanguishene.
