In Loving Memory of Therese Rachelle Hamelin (previously Quesnelle, nee Brunelle).

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Therese Hamelin in her 87th year. She departed this world peacefully after a short illness at the Prince George, BC, Rotary Hospice House on Sunday April 7th, 2024. She is survived  by her two children, Gilbert Quesnelle (Shelley) and Claude Quesnelle (Kelly). Therese found great pleasure being with her grandchildren: Daniel, Christopher and Steven.

As we mourn the loss of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, let us also celebrate the beautiful, fun filled and fulfilling life that Therese created. She was born in Lafontaine and later moved to Penetanguishene where she spent most of her life. Therese managed to have way more laughs then tears through a life of hard work, surviving two husbands (Donald ["B"] Quesnelle and Harold [Hamy] Hamelin) and traveling the world, mostly after retirement. Most recently moving to BC to live with her eldest son and meeting many new friends.

In addition to her immediate family, Therese leaves behind circle of close friends along with the "cruise girls", the "birthday girls", the Ladies Auxiliary members of the Midland Legion and more recently the volunteers at the Hart Pioneer Senior Centre in Prince George, BC.

Her memory will forever be engraved in our hearts, and the love she shared will continue to inspire us. May she rest in eternal peace .

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cancer Research or any charity of your choosing.
