We are sad to announce the passing of Sally Hamelin on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the Georgian Bay General Hospital at the age of 90.
Beloved mother of Garry (Laurie), Gayle, Ken (Gail), Al (Karen), Dave (Sue), Gregory (Monique), and Kevin (Rose Marie). Loving grandmother to Tyler (Tabitha), Tim (Jessica), Tammy (Kevin), Shawn (Sherry), Kyle (Theresa), Chris, Marissa, Reyna (Mike), Rhonda (Shaun), Peter (Trisha), Kayla, Spencer (Leighton), and Shawn. Cherished great grandmother to 9 great grandchildren. Sally will be dearly missed by her sister in laws Carol Palmer and Joyce Hamelin and all extended family and friends. Predeceased by her beloved husband Albert “Pete”, her parents Charles and Jennie, and her siblings Charles Palmer Jr., Jacaleen, Jean, and Ross. Cremation has taken place.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 17th from 2 – 5 p.m. at Nicholls Funeral Home (330 Midland Ave., Midland). If desired, donations may be made in memory of Sally at Hospice Huronia – Tomkins House, or Cancer Support Centre.
