John passed away peacefully at home on December 14, 2023 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Sandra (Czarnik) for 25 years. Proud and loving father to Jamie (Sara), Ryan, Lucas, Paul (Linds), Candace (Kelly) and Lauren (Tyler). Loving grandpa to Madeline, Grace, Charlie, Logan, Hudson, Zoya, Maddox, Memphis, Wyatt, Ayden, Abby and Andie.
He will be remembered by his brother Art (Joan), sister Cathy and sister-in-law Joyce, brothers and sisters-in-law Bryon (Janis), Bob (Diane), David (Kira), the late Susan (Steve) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
John is pre-deceased by his brothers and sister-in-law Bill, Bob, Gerry (Dorothy) and Larry.
John enjoyed Friday night karaoke and was famous for hitting some pretty high notes.
A history fanatic, he stopped and read every plaque he passed. He loved being part of the S.S. Keewatin team and was a star tour guide.
Most of all, John loved to make people laugh. His quick wit and unique phrases will be remembered and missed by everyone who knew him.
John was a loving, family man. Family and friends meant everything to him, so in lieu of flowers or donations, please be present with those around you. Give the extra squeeze, say “I love you”. Life is short.
