Passed away peacefully at Georgian Bay General Hospital on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the age of 87 years. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Good friend to many. He was an honorary member of the Kings Hockey Team Fan Club. In his free time, Raymond liked to fish, hunt and tell stories. He enjoyed spending time at Firth Lake in Gowganda, which Richard Robitaille generously let him stay there over the years. He loved his family in Cognashene. Predeceased by his parents Roger and Emily Gignac. Dear brother of Cleo, Jeannette Robertson, Gerry, Della Oakley, Tom and Martial. A memorial mass will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Penetang on Saturday, February 12 at 11:00a.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at 2East, the Emergency Department and staff at Georgian Bay Seniors Lodge.
