Gignac, Raymond Romeo passed away peacefully at Hillcrest Village in his 86th year on Saturday, September 18th. Beloved husband of the late Joan Gignac (nee Forget). Loving father of Alain (Kimberly), Michel (Edna), Edward, and Jean Paul (Amina). Proud pépère of Alannah (Adam), Tyler, Stephanie (Justus), Malorie (Ben), Sofia, Adèle and Arnaud. Step pépère of Nathan and Terryn. Grandpépère to Autumn and Zoe. Cherished brother of Marc (late Alberta), Julie (late Real and Reg), Zita (late Nelson), Marie (Peter), Roger (Kathleen) and predeceased by Angeline (survived by Gerard). Dear son of the late Lucien Gignac and Olivine Robitaille. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Hillcrest for the amazing care dad received over the past few years. Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid restrictions, a private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Penetanguishene Funeral Home.
