With great sadness, we announce the passing of Joan Fox at Georgian Bay General Hospital on Friday, May 13, 2022 at the age of 60. Joan is survived by her son Wesley Gignac (Kendes) and children; Austin and Hailey. She will be fondly remembered by her brothers; Victor and George (Vivienne). Predeceased by her parents Joan (nee Pownell) and Victor Fox, and by her brothers; Shane (survived by Blanche), and David. Cherished aunt to Nahthanha (Chris Woods) and their children; Mattaya, Landon, and Leo. Joan will be deeply missed by her loving partner Derek Nyboer.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Captain Ken’s Hall, 70 Main Street, Penetanguishene.
