Peacefully went to be with his Lord in his 86th year at the Villa Care Centre.
Loving husband and best friend of Gail Farquhar (nee Webster) for 64 wonderful years. 74 years if you include their childhood wedding at ages 8 and 11. Much loved father of Glen (pre-deceased), Brent, Sheri (Kevin) & Krista (Marty). Grandfather to Brendan (Alice), Andrew (Alexandra), Graham (Mau), Michael (Lauren), Ryan (Elyse), Conor (Corinne), Christine (Eric), Hillary (Giuseppe) & Scott (Emily). Great Grandfather to Elora, Grace, Ethan, Lincoln, June, Robyn & Crew. Dear brother to Wayne (Dorothy). Uncle to Brad (Lynette) & Lisa (Steve) and their families.
He was a compassionate, caring, loving man and was respected by all who knew him. His love for the Lord made him the man that he was. He spent his life teaching and nurturing many students during his career. He enjoyed singing with the Huronia Harmonizers and the Pensioners Quartet.
We would like to thank Jeremy Robitaille for his heartfelt home care support during Lloyd's time at home. We would also like to thank the staff at the Villa for their compassionate care of Lloyd during his stay with them.
Visitation will be held at Nicholls Funeral Home on Friday September 29th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. The service will take place at Midland Alliance Church on Saturday September 30th at 11:00 am with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Midland Alliance Church would be appreciated.
