It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our father Sid Duval in his 98th year.
Dad died peacefully at Huronia Hospice with his family by his side on Monday, February 20th. Son of the late Antoine and the late Lea Duval. Predeceased by his wife Anne (nee Winter), daughter Diane Jennings, and son Ron Pyke. Loving father of Sydney Duval (Gail), Karen Willchuk(Craig), Denise Bourdon (Stan). Cherished Papa to Fred Duval (Debbie), Nicole Duval (Matt), Chris Aucoin (Jill), Daniel Aucoin (Katherine) Amanda Reid (Steve), Ian Willchuk, Emily Willchuk (Behzad), Sean Bourdon (Breanna), Kaitlyn Bourdon (Sean) Mathew Bourdon (Khloey), Jennifer Pyke (Josh) Irene York, and Jimmy York. Great Grandchildren, Brandon, Hannah, Chance, Autumn, Elijah, Aria, Ilah, Alaric, Rachel, Abby, Meghan, Maddie, Allie, Bentley, Lincoln, Brandon, Ashley , Cassidy and Tiffany. Great great grandchildren Finn and Lucas. Dear brother of Marcel (Julia), Anita (Paul) Jeannette (Cel), Veronica (Bob). Deceased Tony, Bert, Gerard, and Henry.
Our Dad was an amazing father and Papa, WW2 veteran, and life long member of the legion. He had a quick wit and an awesome sense of humor. There will be a large void in our lives but we take comfort knowing that he had a long and happy life. We thank the staff at Georgian Village for their dedicated and loving care. Also we are very thankful for the support we received at Hospice Huronia. Donations can be made to Hospice Huronia Tomkins House.
