Diane Gloria Marie Dubeau (nee Reid/Legault)
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Georgian Bay General Hospital on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the age of 77. She has reunited with her late husband André Dubeau, and will be greatly missed by her boyfriend Jules Desroches, and daughters Susan Dubeau-Pauzé (Médéric), and Donna Ansell (Brad). Nana to Chantalle Moreau (Andrew), Janelle Pauzé (Luke), Nathaniel Pauzé (Krissy), Tyler Ansell (Lina), Victoria Ansell (Andrew), and great-grandson Jacques Moreau.
Predeceased by parents Alcime and Alma Legault, brothers Tommy Reid (survived by Eleanor) and Leonard Lacroix (survived by Margaret). Survived by sisters Jeanette Pilon (the late Leon), and Stella Pike (Arthur).
She will be fondly remembered by her brother and sister in-laws, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
An avid camper in her younger years, she returned to the lifestyle of camping in various places near and far, often joining in with sing-alongs and enjoying the time spent with friends. She had a love for bingo and the casinos - she never won much at either, but always came home with an “almost” win story.
The family would like to thank the amazing Health Team in 2 East (GBGH) for all their compassion and care they provided during this difficult time.
Cremation has taken place, and a private service will be held.
