It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Wright (Quesnelle) on Friday, August 12, 2022 in her 79th year with her two daughters by her side.
Loving mother of Peggy Sangret (Jeff) and Susan Wright (Peter). Cherished grandma of Meranda Henderson (Ken), Pamela Sangret (John), Brittany Tomkinson (Brandon) and Aubrey Tomkinson (Aaron). Great grandmother of Dylan, Sophia, Ava, Hudson and baby Embry. Sister of Albert Quesnelle and predeceased by Beatrice, Russell, Tony, Alfred, Marshall, Freddy and Viola. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Doris loved the mountains greatly.
She was a member of the Penetanguishene Legion and volunteered at Crime Stoppers and Community Living.
Visitation will be held at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home on Thursday August 18th from 5-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Anne’s Church on Friday August 19th at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment later at Saint Anne’s Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Kidney Foundation or Hospice Huronia-Tomkins House would be greatly appreciated.
