Anita Marie Dawe (nee Ayotte) passed away peacefully at the age of 83 with the love of her life, Pat, by her side as always. They have been married for almost 64 years. It was always Pat & Anita or Anita & Pat, very rarely were they referred to individually. Theirs was a love story that stood the test of time and illness.

Anita was a homemaker at heart and loved taking care of her family, baking cookies or raisin tea biscuits and leaving her kids and grandkids in charge of the sprinkles. She was the maker of the legendary Curly Qs which no one could duplicate until finally she revealed all of her secrets when she was no longer able to bake. Anita was known for the gift of gab which was stolen from her later on by her illness and was affectionately called jabberjaws by her grandkids. She had a terrific memory and right to the end could tell you the birthdates, anniversary dates or any other special date of all her friends and relatives without fail. We feel better knowing she is up in heaven talking away to all her friends and family that went before her.

Anita will be sorely missed and survived by her sisters Marie, Rita and Germaine. Her Children, (favourite son) Miles (Diane), Sue (favourite daughter), (favourite son) Tim (Lorrie) and (favourite son) Les (Karen). 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Due to covid -19 cremation has taken place and a quiet celebration of life with her family. A mass will be said for her at a later date.
