The Family of Roy Cooper is sad to announce his passing on Friday January 26, 2024. Roy had bravely battled a complex heart/lung condition but thankfully was able to pass into God's care from his own home.
Roy is survived by his wife Sharene (nee Wilson). Devoted father to Julia (Mike) and Shane.
Cherished Grandfather to Olivia (Jordan) and Tierra (Josh)
Roy was a dear brother to Carol, Steve and Gord and dearly loved brother in-law to Joan, Michael and David.
A special mention to his nephew Brandon who has been so helpful in these last months of caregiving.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Nicholls Funeral Home. A Celebration of Roy's Life will take place in the Spring.
When he was able Roy has been a volunteer at the OSPCA and the Guest House Shelter.
Roy's loves after his family and friends were fishing, although he didn't often catch much, football, Green Bay Packers in particular and most any sport, even bull riding!
