Chretien, Pierre (Retired Funeral Director, 4th Degree Knight of Columbus)
Passed away suddenly at home with his family by his side, on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Cindy Chretien (nee Wright). Loving father of Melissa Kirby (Troy) and Katelyn Chretien. Pépère of Douglas Morrison and Ethan Marion. Cherished brother of Lawrence Chretien and the late Bernadette Chretien. Dear son of the late Cena Chretien and Marie-Ange Pilon. He will be sadly missed by his in laws Raymond and Mary Lefaive, sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Pierre was a Funeral Director for over 40 years who enjoyed serving his community and serving those in need. Since retirement, he has continued to serve others volunteering at Hospice Huronia, Penetanguishene Legion and as Treasurer of the Knights of Columbus Penetanguishene. An avid outdoorsman, Pierre enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family.
Visitation will be held at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home on Thursday September 9th and on Friday September 10th. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, please call 705-549-3155 to book your visitation time slot. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Ann's Church on Saturday, September 11th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday September 12th from 12- 5 p.m. at the Penetanguishene Legion. If desired, donations to Hospice Huronia or the Penetanguishene Legion would be greatly appreciated.
