Passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 27, 2023 at Hillcrest Village at the age of 89.

Bryan Edward Boyle was born in Surrey, England and raised in the North of Wales.

He entered the Chester Regiment as a Paratrooper and served in Egypt. He immigrated to Canada with his family in the spring of 1965, where he settled in Burlington, Ontario. His working life began as a toolmaker which lead to industrial sales and marketing for the remainder of his career.

Upon meeting his 2nd wife Ethlyn Robinson he adopted his strong belief of the Bahia faith. He and “Lyn” were married for 40 years. As a couple they were avid sailors, cross country skiers and enjoyed long walks together. His hobbies of wood carving, painting and woodworking kept him busy.

He at the age of 65 built a beautiful home in Belize where Lyn and he had retired to wile also and also working closely with the Baha’i Community within Belize.

Bryan is survived by his daughters Julie Hewitt (Bill), Ann Oreilly (predeceased Mark), Kim, Stepdaughter Lolita Schmalenberg, (Blair). Grandchildren Ryan, Robert, Krista, Heather, Andrew, Jeffrey, Jessica, Thea, Kyle, Tyler, Kobi and great-grandchildren, Sydney, Kaylee, Bradley, Abigail, Nuriyya, Liya, Ronan, Lily, Charleigh, Milo, Levi, and Jovie. 

A private family burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery, Midland, Ontario.

Bryan’s spirt for an adventurous life filled with activity, shenanigans, a cold Guinness and a good glass of red wine and listening to Beatle tunes will always be remembered.
