Passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Born March 7, 1957 to the late Russell C. Balmer and the late Loreen (nee McKinlay). He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Marie Houle (the late Yves), and brother Russell G. Balmer (Judy Gillies). Dear uncle to Julie Houle (Carol Belanger), Tiffany Houle (Frederic Bergeron), and Jeremy Houle (Marilyn Bellmare). Great uncle to Loïc, Maé and Anaé. The family wish to thank the staff of Georgian Bay General Hospital, the PSW’s and nurses of Bayshore who provided Bill with extraordinary care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. There will be no service by request. Donations to the Canadian Cancer society in Bill’s memory are greatly appreciated.
