ARMSTRONG, Nadine (nee Cook)

Nadine passed peacefully at the age of 85 at Hospice Huronia in Penetanguishene. She knows the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour.

She was born in Durham Ontario to John and Mabel Cook of Flesherton ON. She graduated as a registered nurse from St. Joseph’s Hospital in North Bay Ontario in 1959. Nadine was predeceased be brother Beverly Cook and sister Elaine Beauchamp. She was also predeceased by her first husband of 12 years Air Force Capt. Peter Felix.

They had two sons John and William Felix. Patrick Armstrong and Nadine met in North Bay and were married in the fall of 1971. They spent most of their lives working together in different businesses. Nadine had a deep love for the Lord being involved in church planting and small group ministries. The study “Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby” was a life-changing marker in her live. Since then, Nadine has taught the study “Experiencing God” over 25 times in different churches and settings.

She has a love for sharing God’s word with people who are seeking a fuller understanding of the Lord Jesus Christ and what He can do in their lives. Up until four weeks ago Nadine was participating with Pat in leading a Bible study at the Georgian Village Suites where they reside.

Guests will be received at the J.H. Lynn Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 290 First St., in Midland (705) 526-6551 on Tuesday August 29, 2023 from 12:30 pm until the time we give thanks to the Lord for Nadine’s life through service, prayer and celebration starting at 1:30 pm. Burial will take place the following day at the family gravesite in Blind River at 1:30 pm. If desired, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in the Nadine’s name to one of the following charities:
