Passed away peacefully at Hillcrest Village Care Centre on Tuesday February 22, 2022 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Marie Josephine Angus (nee Prescott). Loving father of Carol Jean Lowry (Dan) and Deborah Anne Maxelon (Ernest). Cherished grandfather of Daniel Lowry, Jason Lowry, Roy Maxelon and Chanel Maxelon. Great grandfather of 9 and great-great grandfather of 7. John will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Nicholls Funeral Home on Wednesday February 23rd from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday February 24th from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Spring interment, Port McNicoll Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
