The show must go on.

That’s what bassist Ronnie King told his band mates in The Stampeders before he died March 4 after a battle with cancer.

The band will make a stop at the Orillia Opera House on April 24 as part of the One More Time tour — The Stampeders’ final Ontario tour.

Fans can expect to hear hits such as Sweet City Woman, Wild Eyes, Carry Me and Minstrel Gypsy, as well as stories about King throughout the show.

Dave Chobot, a good friend of the band, will stand in for King on the tour.

Then on May 4, the band will make a stop at the Georgian Theatre.

Tickets are available at orilliaoperahouse.ca or by calling the box office at 705-326-8011. For tickets to the Barrie show, click here.
