June 17 update:
The water upgrade infrastructure along Fox Street has been completed and service is now restored.
Original release:
The Town of Penetanguishene would like to inform residents that 222 Fox Street to Beck Boulevard, Hunter Road and The Village at Bay Moorings will experience a water service interruption from approximately 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021, until completion of work.
This water service interruption is required to upgrade infrastructure along Fox Street.
When the water service resumes you may experience a slight discoloration in the water for a short period of time. We ask that you please remove the screens from your faucets and open all taps for approximately 5-10 minutes to remove any air and to flush your plumbing system.
