The County of Simcoe reminds residents of the following schedule changes on Family Day 2023.
County administration centre (Midhurst)
- The administration centre will be closed to the public on Monday, Feb. 20, including the Service Simcoe Contact Centre and Ontario Works office
Simcoe County Museum
- The museum will be open for its regularly scheduled hours (10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), offering outdoor Family Day activities from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and indoor activities beginning at 10 a.m.

Simcoe County Archives
- The archives are closed on Monday, Feb. 20
Landfills and curbside waste collection
- Waste collection is ongoing on Family Day as there is no change to the county’s waste collection schedule
- Waste drop-off facilities are closed on Monday, Feb. 20. They will reopen Feb. 21
LINX Transit
- LINX Transit services are not in operation on Feb. 20 (with the exception of Route 4). Route 4 only will be operating a Sunday schedule on Monday, Feb. 20
- Return to regularly scheduled services for all routes on Feb. 21

Ontario Works and children services
- All Ontario Works offices and children services are closed on Monday, Feb. 20
