The Tiny Marsh Wildlife Area brings out birders during the spring, along with families and those who appreciate the outdoors.
Its 600 hectares of marsh and 300 hectares of field and forest offer a diverse range of wildlife on the ground as well as in the air. It also contains some interesting flora and landmarks.
Much of it can be seen from its many trails which include dikes snaking through the open marsh as well as boardwalks through the wooded marshy areas and an observation tower.
About 250 species of birds have been spotted at Tiny Marsh, which is one of three Provincial Wildlife Areas that are managed by MTM Conservation Association. It is one of approximately 1,200 important bird areas recognized in Canada.
