Guys Who Care North Simcoe continues to make the region a better place.
This time around, group members voted to donate $17,000 to the Guesthouse Shelter.
The charitable group has now been operating since December 2015 and in that time have raised and donated more than $283,000 to 12 local charities. The Guys’ organization has no overheads and every single dollar raised goes directly to the beneficiary charities.
During their recent meeting at the Midland Golf and Country Club, the philanthropic welcomed eight new members.
From the three local charities presented at the meeting the Guesthouse Shelter in Midland was selected as the recipient of the funding raised. A total of $17,000 was presented to Nathan Sykes, CEO of The Guesthouse Shelter.
