CLH Foundation’s Bonspiel Bonanza returns to the Midland Curling Club on Saturday, Nov. 18 for a great day of curling that will raise vital funds and build awareness of the work of CLH Developmental Support Services (CLH DSS) — a north Simcoe organization which has served people with developmental disabilities for more than 60 years.

“We were so grateful for generous community support last year at our inaugural event, which raised $12,000, and we hope that the 2023 Bonspiel Bonanza will be just as successful,” says Dave Sibley, vice-president of the CLH Foundation board of directors and chair of Bonspiel Bonanza.

The Bonspiel Bonanza supports CLH Foundation’s Commitment to Care initiative, which fully underwrites the costs of essential and critically needed (but unfunded) medical and personal expenses for adults who live in CLH Supported Living Homes. CLH DSS is unique in its longtime practice of covering these costs on behalf of supported individuals, and in the face of ever-rising prices and changes in funding, CLH Foundation has taken responsibility for ensuring this continues. Unequivocal access to what’s needed to remain in good health, both mentally and physically, is the best form of preventative care.

Bonspiel registration is $50 per person ($200 per team), includes lunch, morning coffee, silent auction table, 50/50 draw, and more. Click here for more information or to register.
