One of Askennonia Senior Centre’s most popular events kicks off later this month.
Beginning at 1:30 p.m. on April 23, volunteer models will strut their stuff down the runway as the Midland-based centre’s spring fashion makes a return appearance.
“For over three decades, our vibrant senior community has been gearing up for this sensational event, and this year promises to be the most fabulous yet,” centre executive director Judy Contin said.
Showcasing the hottest trends from local partner businesses A Passion for Fashion, OMG Men and Women’s Fashions and The Boho Hut, the annual homage will feature models dazzling in the latest styles,, curated especially for this event.
Besides the fashions, the fun event will feature a cash bar, exciting door prizes and delightful refreshments making the afternoon promises to be “ a feast for the senses,” Contin added.
“Don't miss out on the chance to cheer on our 28 fabulous men and women as they grace the stage three times each throughout the afternoon.”
Tickets, which are $15 for members and $20 for guests, can be purchased at the centre Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
