LETTER: Some residents make the initial effort, lack follow through

Similar to those who can't seem to walk with an empty coffee cup, reader wonders why doggy bags are pitched on trails

Dear Editor.

While walking on William Street, I took note of the fact that dog owners take the time to stoop and bag their dogs doodoo, but they then throw the bags into the cedar tree line.

I can’t understand taking the time to bag, yet feeling no environmental guilt by leaving the bags.

Things that make you say, "what the hell is wrong with people." Highlighting the issue might make a difference.

Thanks for your time.
