This move cannot be argued as either justified or within the current government mandate. Instead the need for housing is being used as a red herring to attempt to steal protected, ecologically sensitive land for development.

The needed land for affordable homes within the GTA already exists. Putting back more land than you steal is beside the point: Land is not interchangeable, as anyone who witnessed Hurricane Hazel can testify. This matters.
