It's now been 18 years since my Angel gave me her last kiss on October 14th, 2004 just before 4:00 am. The memory of Lucie leaving still remains painful today. Lucie's soul was written in her eyes for all to see and God looked into her eyes He saw love, faith, hope, light, joy and He also saw Lucie getting tired and a cure was not meant to be. So he put His arms around her and whispered, "Come to me".
With tearful eyes, we watched you as we saw you pass away. Although we loved you deeply, we could not make you stay. Your golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts but proved to us He took the best.
