TAKE NOTICE that a Special Meeting of Council will be held on Monday, Aug. 17, 2020, at 9 a.m., for the purpose of enacting a by-law to consider an amendment to the Township’s Procedure By-law.
The amendment will provide that a member of council, of a local board or of a committee of either of them, can participate electronically in a meeting to the extent and in the manner set out in the Procedure By-law, as permitted through the COVID-19 Economic Recovery Act, 2020, Schedule 12.
The regularly scheduled Committee of the Whole Meeting will proceed directly thereafter.
The Township of Tiny holds the health and safety of its residents and staff as a top priority. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the Township remains diligent in its efforts to help flatten the curve of this virus and to lessen the impacts of a potential second wave.
All Township of Tiny Municipal Offices remain closed to the public. As a result, we invite residents to view the Council meeting proceedings through the livestreaming option available on the Township of Tiny’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/tinytownshiplive.
