NEWS RELEASE
HURONIA PLAYERS
*************************
Given the current situation, Huronia Players has made the decision to suspend rehearsals for the current show and delay the opening of The Old Man and The Old Moon until the fall. It will become the first show of our next season and will now run from Nov. 6 to 21.

What does that mean for current ticket holders?
If you currently have tickets for any of the performances of The Old Man and the Old Moon, those tickets and the seats you have chosen will automatically be transferred over to the corresponding performance in the new time slot.

Here is a quick reference table so you can determine the new date:

Old Ticket Date - New Ticket Date

  • Friday, May 1 - Friday, Nov. 6
  • Saturday, May 2 - Saturday, Nov. 7
  • Sunday, May 3 - Sunday, Nov. 8
  • Thursday, May 7 - Thursday, Nov. 12
  • Friday, May 8 - Friday, Nov. 13
  • Saturday, May 9 - Saturday, Nov. 14
  • Sunday, May 10 - Sunday, Nov. 15
  • Thursday, May 14 - Thursday, Nov. 19
  • Friday, May 15 - Friday, Nov. 20
  • Saturday, May 16 - Saturday, Nov. 21

If that works for you, then you don't need to do anything further. If you have physical tickets, they will be valid for the new dates but where possible we will also send out new tickets by email or mail.

For those that can't attend on the new date, you will be able to exchange or refund your tickets when the Midland Cultural Centre box office reopens. This is currently scheduled for sometime after April 6, but please watch their website (www.midlandculturalcentre.com) for ongoing updates as the situation develops. Please be patient as this is a trying time for everyone.

Note that if you are a season ticket holder and choose to renew, the cost of next season's tickets will be reduced accordingly.

Thank you for your understanding. The cast and crew have been in rehearsals for several months now and the show is starting to take shape. We're really excited about this production and we look forward to seeing you in November. Stay safe and have a great summer.

Sincerely,
Jonathan Killing
