Local municipalities cancel spring Treasure Days event

In a further effort to limit the spread of COVID-19, the Town of Midland, Town of Penetanguishene and Township of Tay have cancelled the spring Treasure Days event scheduled for May 23-24, 2020.

The bi-annual event, where residents in all three municipalities leave unwanted household items at their curb, and residents drive around searching for items they could use and claiming these items free of charge, takes place in May and October each year. The fall Treasure Days event is still scheduled to take place Oct. 17-18. However, a further update will be provided if/when that plan changes.
